According to the 2019 data we received from the European Ready Mixed Concrete Association (ERMCO), the total production amount of all European Union member countries is 260 million cubic meters, while Turkey alone produces 67 million cubic meters of concrete. With this production amount, Turkey is the first among EU countries, Germany is the second with a production of 53.5 million cubic meters, and France is the third with a production of 40.3 million cubic meters.

While the average per capita ready mixed concrete production in EU countries is 0.6 cubic meters, in Turkey it is 0.8 cubic meters per capita ready mixed concrete production. Turkey is ahead not only in terms of quantity but also in the strength classes of the concretes used. Considering the strength classes of the concretes used; In strength classes C25/30-C30/37, with 69.5%, Turkey is above the EU average of 61%. In C35/45 and higher strength classes, Turkey is above the EU average of 25% with 14.0%.
